What can I say about this little dude?! What a little character he is! His dam gave us no warning she was going to foal and he arrived 6 weeks early! We did infact miss the foaling and got quite the shock when we checked the cameras and there he was standing in the pen. Watching the cameras back he was born at 3am and the birth, luckily, went perfectly. At 2 days old he had a bit of constipation, so we had the vet out who also checked his IGG which was perfect. Named for the fact he loves to buck his poor dam, and also gave our lovely vet Libby a couple of bucks too! He is the friendliest little man, and incredibly confident, not phased by anything, making getting photos of him a challenge. We are blessed he is a little chunk too, with a beautiful head and lots of bone. We are thrilled he is going to be a future stallion for someone who is just starting out with breeding Shetlands.
