Twinkie is a beautiful, sweet mare with a gorgeous long mane. She is looking for a a pet/companion home, strickly not to be bred from. She has had 2 foals, both born far too early. The first (8 weeks early) sadly died at 24 hours old despite our best efforts to save her. The second (7 weeks early) we managed to save, but he required round the clock care for his first month of life and cost thousands in vet bills! Our equine vet (who is a reproduction specialist) has advised she will have all her foals this early so it simply isn't in Twinkie's best interests to breed her again.
