The filly fairy visited us on the 13th of May when Maribell gave birth to this beautiful palomino dun with a big white blaze... a mini me of her sire, our old boy Brandeston Rupert. Maribell's foals never disapoint and as usual this little filly is a confident little live wire! She was a very vocal little thing when first born, and when we sent a video of her to our friend she said she sounded as though she was singing and suggested the name Melisma which is a style of singing. We think it is a beautiful name for a beautiful filly... so a huge thank you to Lel!
